Companies can often draw on public funding when implementing a wide range of projects. Programs are available at EU, federal, and state level for this purpose. The Steinfurt Economic Development Agency (WESt) mbH and the TRAIN initiative (Transfer and Innovation in the Steinfurt District) are offering a virtual series of events under the title #Fördermittel (Funding). Once a month, current funding opportunities for companies will be presented.

The main topics of the event series:

• Introduction to public funding programs: Overview of current loan and grant funding.
• Funding for employee training and continuing education.
• Consulting subsidies: Grants for external consulting services.
• Trade fair funding: Grants for participation in leading international trade fairs.
• Energy and sustainability projects: Financing options for sustainable projects.
• Innovation funding: Grants for the development and implementation of innovative projects.

The information events are held in cooperation with other regional partners. They are aimed in particular at small and medium-sized enterprises from the Steinfurt district.
