Steinfurt District Business Breakfast

The Steinfurt Economic Promotion and Development Agency (WESt) and the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) have been taking turns organising the Business Breakfast in the Steinfurt district for many years. The aim is to bring together entrepreneurs, senior managers, business owners and authorised signatories from the region over a hearty breakfast, to encourage the exchange of ideas and information, and to forge valuable contacts.

A varied programme of events with a regional focus

The business breakfast ‘tours’ various companies in the Steinfurt district, giving participants fascinating insights into different sectors and working environments. This variety not only opens up new perspectives, but also provides numerous opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas.

Target audience

Entrepreneurs, senior management, business owners and authorised signatories regularly attend the breakfast meetings. The informal setting encourages open discussion on current issues, challenges and business opportunities. Short talks and presentations round off each meeting and provide practical information for business leaders.

At the 41st district-wide business breakfast, representatives from the worlds of business, politics and public administration gathered at TECE in Emsdetten. The focus was on the current economic situation, positive signs such as the rise in industrial turnover in the Steinfurt district, and challenges posed by skills shortages, rising costs and uncertain operating conditions. Host TECE provided fascinating insights into the company’s development, its international focus and strategic priorities for the future. The joint event organised by the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Nord Westfalen) and WESt mbH once again provided a valuable platform for exchange and networking within the regional business community.

At the 40th district-wide business breakfast, numerous representatives from the regional business community gathered at Trendelkamp Technology GmbH in Nordwalde. The focus was on the current economic situation, challenges such as skills shortages, red tape and rising costs, as well as the opportunities presented by innovation and new technologies. Hosts Josef Trendelkamp Senior and Junior provided fascinating insights into the company’s development and the new building at the Nordwalde site. The joint event, organised by the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Nord Westfalen) and WESt mbH, once again demonstrated how important dialogue between businesses, politicians and the public sector is for the region’s future viability.

At the 39th district-wide business breakfast, just under 40 managing directors from the Steinfurt district gathered at the venue hosted by Christiani Kompetenzzentrum Rheine and OptiTime GmbH & Co. KG to exchange ideas. The focus was on the region’s positive economic development, current challenges facing businesses, and the importance of securing a skilled workforce and creating favourable conditions for growth. Fascinating insights into the work of the two host companies highlighted the diversity and innovative strength of the local economy. The joint series of events organised by the North Westphalia Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Nord Westfalen) and WESt mbH once again underlined how important direct dialogue between business, politics and the public sector is for the region’s future viability.
