What we stand for

We are shaping a vibrant, sustainable and innovative economic region. We turn major issues for the future into tangible local projects – with great passion and team spirit.

What matters to us

  • Innovation
  • Community
  • Sustainability

We promote creative and innovative solutions to tackle current challenges, we strengthen cohesion in the region to achieve shared goals, and we focus on long-term environmental, economic and social sustainability to safeguard the quality of life for future generations.

How we work

  • The WESt team enjoys a respectful, family-like atmosphere, and communication is characterised by openness and a willingness to help. Our doors are always open, and we encourage all team members to express their thoughts freely. We foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect by meeting with the whole team online every week and in person every month to exchange ideas, agree on goals and develop solutions together.
  • We promote employee satisfaction through, among other things, flat hierarchies, flexible working hours, working from home and a company pension scheme based on the TVöD. Through targeted further training and development programmes, we support the personal and professional development of each individual.
  • We view challenges as a team effort and take pride in the goals and successes we achieve together. Furthermore, our celebrations and team events are an important part of our corporate culture.

We’re happy to use the informal ‘you’!

We believe in openness, treating everyone as equals and working together on a personal level. That’s why we deliberately use the informal ‘you’ within our team and on our website. The ‘Münsterland-Du’ stands for closeness, trust and a modern way of communicating. So please feel free to address us informally!

Training & Work Experience

We are actively committed to training – because it broadens horizons, promotes inclusion and brings fresh ideas to the team. A big thank you to all the interns, trainees and students who have supported us so far!

Would you like to do an internship or work on a project with us?
Whether you’re a school pupil, a student or someone changing careers – we look forward to hearing from you!

Marketing & Communications
“As a working student, flexibility in my job was always really important to me. Whenever there was a new timetable at uni, I could always change my working hours at WESt without any hassle at all, and I also had the option of working from home. I really appreciate that! I also completed my compulsory work placement as part of my degree at WESt, and I’d recommend anyone to experience the exciting topics and events in action.”
